A Loose Tooth, Barf, Fevers & Fun - Chronicle 9

Hannah has her first loose tooth! She went to the dentist on March 25th and two days later had a loose tooth! *** We've had a relatively healthy winter but all of a sudden we've had some sickness...on Easter eve poor little Jackie woke up with some yuckiness! Poor little guy, he had never puked before and just kept saying, "why...why..." we think he ate something bad off the floor at Mamacitas (yummy Mexican restaurant in Boulder). Then we survived Spring Break, playing at the park, and other fun activities. Then Hannah got sick. She woke up on Parent Teacher Conference day with a bad cough and fever...but alas, she is well again! *** Friday we went to the movies and saw Nim's Island, so fun! Give the kids an Icee and a bag of candy and they'll be quiet and watch an entire movie! Today Hannah and I went skiing. She went to the TOP of Eldora Mountain. I was so proud of her, she really did great! Pics and video will be posted soon! ***

Crazy 2 1/2 year old antics - Chronicle 7

So here is a rundown of crazy 2 1/2 year old antics for the week: Monday: Pam cooking spray is a FUN toy! Luckily it was played with outside but was EVERYWHERE! Tues: Mom's $20 tube of eye cream smells nice! I think I'll squeeze the entire thing out and spread it all over my body! Wed: microwaving frozen fruit, "hiding" under the sink. peeling an entire cucumber very meticulously after cutting off both ends then eating it like a banana. Thurs: Today the poor little boo did an end over off of his nap cot at school and got a very big owie.

Skiing Fun - Chronicle 6

Hannah and I had a rare girls day as Jack went to school. We went to breakfast at the Boulder Dushanbe Teahouse and then to Eldora skiing. Here is a couple of videos and pictures. I asked her after if she had fun skiing and she said, "Yah it was awesome!" Well said! We had a blast! :)

The innocence - Chronicle 5

"Mom?" "Yes, Hannah" "Do I have lines under my eyes (looking at her reflection in a dark window)?" "No sweetie, why?" "Because you do Mom" "Yah I know sweetie, I'm getting old..."

Long Weekend Activities - Chronicle 4

Here you will find pics of our weekend. Bunny ear decorating with Jackson and Marcus, Butterfly Pavilion visit, Jack holding Rosie the tarantula and a photo shoot by Hannah busting Jack doing laundry, playing in the toilet and riding his scooter. And no the glasses are not real, apparently just fashionable. I'm a little worried about the outfit with the umbrella, ah the innocence.

The inspiration - Chronicle 2

So the pics you see here were the inspiration for the blog. I want to make sure I don't forget any of these "precious" moments. One is of Jack making a smoothie on his own, soy milk, mac and cheese and a hot dog, yum! The other pic is of the kids making a cake on their own. It was Rick's bday and while I was getting ready to go out (Rick was already out getting a massage) they decided to make a cake, flour, sugar, eggs, salt, maple syrup, butter, oh and an entire bag of chocolate chips. The sitter Lisa just added baking powder and maybe a little more flour and voila, they had a cake. Lisa said it was "almost good". Hannah said it tasted like pancakes. :)

Valentine's Day - Chronicle 1

Happy Valentine's Day! Welcome to my blog. I decided to start a blog to chronicle the lives of the Vincent Family, specifically our kids Hannah & Jack. I'm afraid I'm forgetting events in their lives and am hoping this helps in documenting them more regularly. Today was pretty uneventful as the kids were in school. We got about 4 or 5 inches of snow today so we were a little late to school. Also, I missed the "memo" on brining handmade Valentines to Hannah's class so she was the only one with commercial Valentine's, I felt so bad, oh well... Here are a couple of pics of the kids from tonight. Hannah thought Jack needed a skirt on. And Hannah is sitting at her "throne".
